Our Philosophy
We designed Accord around one question: what would therapy look like if your experience came first at every step?
Every session starts with respect for the whole person, and leaves room for honesty and for questions.
Our practice welcomes all identities, backgrounds and experiences. Therapy should feel affirming to everyone who walks in.
Evening hours on some days, video sessions in states where we are licensed (Oregon), and a limited number of reduced-fee spots.
Ways to work with us

One-on-one sessions built around your goals, with a clinician who adapts to you. Your clinician sets the pace.

Learn more
Monthly groups led by a licensed clinician, for adults who want to work alongside others. Each group names its focus in advance.
Learn moreOur modalities
Our clinicians draw on several methods, and each names the training behind it. Your clinician explains what to expect before you start.
Notice the thought patterns that keep worry or avoidance going, and practice new responses between sessions.

A structured approach to processing difficult memories with guided eye movements or taps. Your clinician prepares you first and goes at your pace.

Skills for handling strong emotions and relationships, practiced step by step, with a handout to take home.

Attention to what the body is doing during a hard moment, through slow movement and breath. You can take part without retelling everything.

Talk about patterns in your relationships and how they began, with a clinician who listens for what repeats.
